The AI that knows your people by name.

Mission Engine is an AI assistant, included on every HumDov plan, that notices when someone in your church starts drifting and reaches out from your church's named assistant, within rules your team sets.

A first-time visitor who has not come back in three weeks. A regular giver who has gone quiet. A small group member whose birthday is tomorrow. Your team would catch all of it if they had twice the hours.

Mission Engine catches it, drafts the outreach, and sends it from your church's assistant, in your voice. Your people still lead. Nobody gets missed.

The Trigger

Sarah submits Plan a Visit on your website

Tuesday, 9:14pm

Sent as Jessica, Fountain of Life's guest assistant

Your church names its assistant and approves how it speaks.

  1. Tuesday, 9:16pm · two minutes later. Jessica: Hi Sarah, this is Jessica, Fountain of Life's guest assistant. Saw you're thinking of visiting us Sunday, that's really good news. So we can look out for you, are you coming on your own or bringing anyone? Two minutes, not three days. The moment someone raises their hand is the moment they're most open.
  2. Tuesday, 9:31pm. Sarah: Hi Jessica! Bringing my husband and our two kids, 4 and 7. One question, real information. A form entry just became a family.
  3. Tuesday, 9:33pm. Jessica: Oh that's lovely, a whole family coming. And good news, 4 and 7 means they'll both be with kids their own age, we run separate rooms for each. Honestly the little ones usually have a better morning than the adults do. Come about ten minutes early and someone from our welcome team will be at the main doors to walk you over to check-in, so you're not hunting for it with two kids in tow. North lot is closest to the doors. It reacted before it informed. It said something about her family first. Then every detail after that exists because of what she told it.
  4. Saturday, 9:00am · the day before. Jessica: Morning Sarah. Just wanted to say we're expecting you tomorrow and we're really looking forward to having you all. Pastor James is starting a short series on rest this week, which might land well for anyone running after a 4 and a 7 year old. We're at 10am, and the welcome team will be at the main doors from about 9:40. If anything comes up between now and then, or there's anything you need, just reply here and I'll sort it. This is the one that gets them there. Plans change and Tuesday is a long way from Sunday. A Saturday note turns an intention into a morning out. It knows the sermon because your church already plans services in HumDov.
  5. Sunday, 4:30pm · next day. Jessica: Sarah! So glad you all made it this morning. How did the kids find it? Only sent because she came. Check-in confirmed it. If she hadn't turned up, this would have been a completely different message.
  6. Sunday, 4:30pm · next day. Sarah: It was lovely, thank you. The kids didn't want to leave, especially the little one. We'll be back next week. This one is yours now. A reply like this isn't something to automate. It goes to a person.
  7. Sunday, 4:30pm · next day. Handed to your team. Sarah is flagged for a personal welcome, added to your first-time visitor list, and her family is on record before anyone has opened a spreadsheet. Pastor James gets the whole thread before he meets her. He knows her name, the kids' ages, and every word Jessica already said. Nobody gets caught out.

What it watches.
What it does. What you decide.

Mission Engine is not a chatbot bolted onto your dashboard. It runs on the data your community already generates.

It watches

The signals your team would catch with more hours

Everything already flowing through HumDov: attendance, giving, groups, messages, and app activity.

  • First-time visitors who never came back
  • Regular attenders who went quiet
  • Givers whose recurring gift lapsed or failed
  • Group members who stopped showing up
  • Birthdays, anniversaries, and milestones

It acts

Outreach written in your voice, sent by your church's assistant

In-app first, then SMS if there is no response. Trained on how your community actually talks.

  • Drafts the message, in your tone
  • Sends in-app, cascades to SMS
  • Answers questions from your own content
  • Remembers what someone already told you
  • Logs every send and every reply

You decide

Every rule, and every message that needs a person

You set what it can do before it does anything. Nothing runs on defaults you did not choose.

  • Which situations trigger outreach
  • Which messages need approval first
  • What hours it is allowed to send
  • Who gets handed the sensitive ones
  • Turn any of it off, any time
Using Mission Engine has been a game changer for us as a church. Clear follow-ups, and smooth handling of things we would have mostly missed.

For Churches

Pastoral care that scales with your church.

Without Mission Engine

Your team uses HumDov to track visitors, manage groups, send announcements, and process giving. You see who showed up, who gave, and who joined a group. Follow-up happens when somebody has the bandwidth, which is not most weeks.

With Mission Engine

It notices the things your team would notice if they had twice the hours. Someone misses two Sundays. A giver's card fails. A new member never joins a group.

It drafts the outreach, sends it in your church's voice, and flags what needs a human. Your pastors still pastor. Mission Engine makes sure nobody gets missed.

For Communities

Every member followed up. Nobody slipping through the cracks.

Without Mission Engine

You use HumDov to manage your roster, coordinate groups and communications, and collect donations or dues. You can see who is active and who has gone quiet.

Follow-up depends on your leaders' capacity and how close they are to each person.

With Mission Engine

Community life moves fast and people disengage quietly. A recovery group member who has not checked in this week. A campus ministry student who stopped opening announcements after midterms.

A supporter whose recurring gift just failed. It reaches out from your community's assistant and hands the conversations that need a real person to your team. Your leaders still lead.

For Creators

Real relationships, at a scale you could not do alone.

Without
Mission Engine

You use HumDov to post content, go live on Loop, publish devotionals through Journeys, and accept support from your community. You reply to DMs and comments when you can, which is never all of them.

With
Mission Engine

Every follower gets a real conversation. It answers their questions, remembers what they have already shared, and points back to the devotional you posted three months ago that fits exactly what they are going through.

It speaks in your voice, under a name you choose, trained only on content you have already published. You keep creating. It keeps the relationships alive between posts.

You are not handing your church to a robot.

It makes decisions from what's actually happening in your church: who showed up, who gave, who went quiet, and what they already told you. And it only acts within the rules your team sets.

Nothing sends without your rules

You choose which situations trigger outreach and which messages need a person to approve them first. Set it to approve everything and it becomes a drafting assistant that sends nothing on its own.

Quiet hours are respected

No messages at 2am. You set the window your community is comfortable being contacted in, and it holds to it.

Opt-outs are honored automatically

Anyone can stop messages at any time and it takes effect immediately, across every channel. Nobody has to ask twice.

Sensitive conversations go to a human

If someone replies with something that needs real care, Mission Engine stops and hands the conversation to your team right away. It does not try to counsel anybody.

Every message is logged

Your team sees what went out, to whom, and what came back. Nothing happens in a place you cannot look.

You can turn it off

Any part of it, any time, without losing your data or leaving the platform. It is a feature, not a dependency.

Named by you.

Shaped by your church.

Speaking in your voice.

Your members hear from your church's assistant, named by you and speaking the way your church speaks. Your team sees every message and can step in whenever it matters.
